Illyrian Polish | Winter Is Coming

MAGYAR verzió                                                                                                                                    PR sample

Today I have swatches of Illyrian Polish Winter Is Coming collection, which is available on Color4Nails.
Some of you might remember that I've swatched 3 shades from the collection back is February (post is HERE), so now I have double bottles of those 3 shades (My Sun and Stars, Winter Is Coming, You Know Nothing Jon Snow), so I thought I will give away the 3 unopened, new bottles for one of my readers :) You can enter in the Rafflecopter box at the end of this post!

Now let's get into the swatches!

NOTHING BURNS LIKE THE COLD
This polish is so much more "colorful" in real life! It has blue holo glitters and purple shimmer in a royal blue jelly base. The holo effect is not that usual rainbow type of holo, their colors are purple, green and teal. Sadly my camera shows nothing of those colors, it acts like that a lot when I try to photograph a really blue nail polish, it kinda turns all the other colors blue as well.
It has a nice formula, the glitters are easy to distribute. You will need 2-3 coats depending on your application. I advise 2 coats of topcoat.

MY SUN AND STARS
One of the prettiest polishes ever! I enjoy the color combination so much! You have light purple holo glitters in different sizes, coppery orange glitters and metallic flakes, and probably a lots of other things which make this nail polish magical! You can use it as a topcoat or on it's own. On it's own you will need 2-3 coas (or you can sponge it on). As a topcoat I used over 'Never Forget What You Are' and 'I Don't Need Saving', but I could apply this over almost anything!

WINTER IS COMING
It's a muted grey-blue jelly base with silver holo glitters, holo flakes and blue irredescent glitters which make the polish icy! I love this shade so much!
You will need 2-3 coats to build up the color, and it doesn't dry too textured, so 1 thick coat of topcoat should be enough.

FOR THE NIGHT IS DARK AND FULL OF TERRORS
It has a dark, dusty burgundy crelly base with lots of purple shimmer. The color builds up in 3 coats. In the shade you can't see anything of the shimmer, it only "lights up" when the light hits it.
The formula is nice, it doesn't get streaky, but it dries quite fast, so don't overwork it!

NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU ARE
It's a STUNNING green leaning teal holo with purple shimmer flakes. And again, I'm blown away by the color combination, Vanessa really knows how to pair gorgeous colors!
It's more on the jellier side, so I needed 3 coats to build up the color.

I DON'T NEED SAVING
It's a dusty, greyish plum crelly base blue shimmer. In the shade you can see a relly dark, deep navy color, and the shimmer starts to glisten when the light hits it. I feel that the coverage is a little bit better than 'For The Night Is Dark And Full Of Terrors', so in most cases you can get away with 2 coats. It's not streaky, it's super easy to work with.

YOU KNOW NOTHING, JON SNOW
It has a greige crelly base with red-pink shimmer. The base color really depends on the light, it can be totally grey, totally greige or totally taupe. But it's always stunning! :)
I used 3 normal coats, it doesn't get streaky.

A DRAGON IS NOT A SLAVE
It's a slightly dusty moss green jelly base with scatterd holo, golden-green and purple irredescent microflakies. I really love the combination of the base color and the golden/purple flakies...again, those color combos are killin me :D
This one is the most jelly based, I was a bit disappointed with the second coat, there was a lot on VNL, but magically the third coat made a huge difference, this is how you see it in the pictures.
