Born Pretty Store | Pearl powder

Olvasd MAGYARUL                                                                                                                                 PR sample

Rub on powders everywhere, right? :D But I just could't leave the subject, I hope it's not late to join the party :D I choosed this green irredescent finely milled powder from Born Pretty Store to review.
I have other powders from them, but those doesn't have a protective seal on them, so they usually spill everywhere while they get to me, but this one has a seal which is fantastic! Sadly it didn't come with an applicator, but to be honest it's not 100% necessary.

Most of the times I see these rub in powders used with gel polishes, but I don't wear gel polish, so I wanted to find out if it works with regular polish or not.
And it totally works!

I choosed a cobalt blue base: Morgan Taylor Making Waves. I painted on 2 layers, but with the second layer I didn't waited until it fully dries. It was dry to the touch, but not completely, so I could gently rub the powder in with the sponge applicator you can see on the pictures, then gently with my fingers too, to give it extra shine.

Seche Vite didn't worked with this, and I believe you have to use a water based topcoat, or (as I did here) a peel off base coat, like the one from UNT. It seals the powder perfectly, and doesn't ruin the high shine, "duochrome"-like finish. After the UNT basecoat dried I used 1 coat of Seche Vite to actually seal it down.

I made a boomerang video HERE on Instagram, where you can really see the green duochrome high-shine finish.

I stamped on it (a really clumsy one :D) with a Born Pretty Store stamping plate full of triangle-geometrical patterns, BP-L054.

You can find this irredescent powder HERE, on bornprettystore.com
I originally choosed the #1 color which is a red-orange, but they sent me the green one, which is #2.
