Femme Fatale Cosmetics | The Little Mermaid

Olvasd MAGYARUL                                                                                                                                 PR sample

Femme Fatale Cosmetics created yet again a gorgeous collection. The inspiration behind these shades was the tale of The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Anderson.
I loved to swatch this collection, these shades, finishes are really close to me, and it became my new favorite collection from the brand.

BUILT WITH SHIPWRECKED BONES
It's a really sheer teal tinted base with lots of gold-green shimmer flakes and silver holo glitters that has an ethereal blue-lavender flash to them.
Depending on your application/nail lenght you will need 2-3 coats and at least 1 thick coat of topcoat.

AMONG DOUGHTERS OF AIR
It's a really pale blue tinted base with lots of silver holo glitters, small gold to red irredescent glitters and pink shimmer flakes. According to the brand this is a topcoat. Well, I didn't knew this when I swatched it, so I just applied 2-3 coats of it and it covered perfectly. You can totally try it as a topcoat, although it might will cloud up the basecolor too much, because it actually has a really nice coverage.

DOMINION OF THE SEA WITCH
It's a bright teal base with holo shimmer, pink-purple-copper shimmer, and gold to red irredescent glitters. It build up to a stunning finish, BUT you have to apply it really carefully. Those irredescent glitters can chunk up on top of each other if you use thick coats, so I strongly advise you to use thin coats, and kinda really push down the brush when you apply it, to smooth out the glitters. It sounds harder than it actually is, so don't be affraid.
I used 3 thin coats.

THE FALLEN STATUE
It's an off-white/ivory crelly base with pearly icy-blue shimmer, holo dust and lots of pink-purple-green UCC flakies.
It applied impeccable, it was so smooth and even, I needed only 2 coats.

AN IMMORTAL SOUL
It's a clear base with lots of gold-bronze duochrome flakies, gold shimmer flakies, gold holo glitters. It has an antique gold color, so it's a deeper, bronzier gold.
It covers in 2-3 coats.

PRIDE MUST SUFFER PAIN
It's a thermail polish. It's the first thermal in my polish stash that I 100% like both its cold and its warm color.
When it's cold, it has a dusty, mauvey-rosy color, and when it's warm it has a pale mint/turquoise color. It has copper-red shimmer and mint-green irredescent flakes and a hint of holo dust.
When I applied it, my hands were cold, so I saw the mauve-rose color, and that shade was perfect in 2 coats, but when I warmed up my hands to see the mint color I saw that it was just a tiny bit streaky, so I would recommend to use 3 thin coats just to be sure.

STARS OF HEAVEN FALLING
It's a plum base with pink-purple-blue multichrome shimmer, golden-green to red irredescent glitters and holo dust.
I used 3 thin coats.

THE MERMAID'S TAIL
It's a pale turquoise tinted base with lots of gold-green UCC falkies, gold-green shimmer flakies, holo dust and gold (and even green?) holo glitters.
This one is really blingy and metallic at the same time.
I used 3 thin coats, but on short nails 2 coats can work too.

GLITTERING DRAUGHT
This polish is so much more magical in real life, my pictures just couldn't do it justice :( It's a lot sparklier and that pink shimmer stands out a lot more, it's gorgeous in every lighting and angle. I was wearing this since Wednesday, and I loved it so much!
It has a pale seafoam green base with the tiniest silver holo glitters, tiny gold to red irredescent glitters, a couple of holo flakies and pink shimmer flakies.
I recommend it in 2 thicker or 3 thinner coats.

I fell in love with Femme Fatale Cosmetics all over again, I really adore this collection and I couldn't even pick a favorite.

There's only a couple left on the FF US site, but stockist will have this collection really soon, so keep an eye out if you want to grab some of them. Here's the list of stockists.
