I have the entire Fall 2016 collection by KBShimmer to show you today. These were sent to me by the webshop Color4Nails. KBShimmer always has amazing formulas, and these were just as perfect. Now let's see all 12 shades one by one!
TIERS OF JOY
It's a yellow tonec nude shade with gold metallic and holo glitters, rosey, bronze and black glitters.
Absolutely amazing formula, I used 2-3 coats plus topcoat.
It's quite an old school combination. White crelly with multicolor hex glitters and tiny glitter bars. I'm not gonna lie, this one is really not my favorite, but if you like it I have some good news: it has a perfect formula! 2-3 coats will be enough, it's super easy to apply, there's no streaking at all! It doesn't dries too textured, but a good coat of topcoat (or two) is a must.
LITTLE BOY HUE
It's a dusty medium blue creme with a very good formula, I used 2 easy coats plus topcoat.
SAGE IT AIN'T SO
A pistachio kinda green crelly with lavender, copper and silver glitters.
Streak free, nice formula, 2-3 coats with topcoat.
THE BEST MUM EVER
It's a medium purple crelly (with a bit warmer, "purpler" undertone as my pictures show) with pink irredescent shimmer flakes.
2-3 coats with topcoat.
FLAKE ME HOME TONIGHT
It's a mint "foil-holo" containing silver flakes and holo microglitters (or flakes?). And if it seems familiar, then yes, it's almost identical with ILNP Rolling Hills (comparison pic can be found below). The ILNP version has less but bigger silver flakes, also it's a tiny bit lighter.
3 thin coats shown here, but you can get away with 2 normal/thicker ones as well.
It's a warmer, salmon toned pink jelly base with silver ultra holo glitters.
2-3 coats. Since it's a microglitter polish, you will need at least 2 coats of topcoat to even out the surface.
FRIGHT THIS WAY
It's a black jelly base with purple metallic hex and bar glitters plus tiny silver holo microglitters.
I needed 3 normal coats plus 2 thick coats of topcoat.
GRIN AND GERBERA IT
I'm not gonna be too much help here, because no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't describe this shade properly. It's not pink nor redish, it's some kind of a dusty rosy shade. I quite like it, and it's a one coater!!!
It's a warm toned red linear holo.
2 easy coats.
It's a rich, warm, red toned purple linear holo. LOVE IT!
I used 2 easy coats. After applying a coat of Seche Vite the color got a little bit more reddish, which is quite frequent with red toned purples.
OH MY GANACHE
It's a deep chocolate brown with neutral/warm undertone.
It covers in 2-3 coats.
This is not the most "Fall-ish" collection ever, however you get a nice selection of colors and finishes and of course the formulas are amazing, so I can only recommend these.
They are available at Color4Nails.
