Colors by Llarowe | Stamping polishes

MAGYAR verzió                                                                                                                                    PR sample

I have a really exciting post for today! Colors by Llarowe makes stamping polishes yaaayyyy! We will have 15 stamping polishes in total, 13 holographic and 2 multichrome.
The polishes are pigmented and thick, as a good stamping polish should be. Most of them worked perfectly, but sadly there is 3 which I have some complains about.
This is going to be a really long post, I will have stamped swatches on white and black base, manicure with each polish, plus normal full nail swatches too, because these can work awesomely as normal polishes too (of course you have to keep in mind that these were designed for stamping, so they are thicker than regular nail polish).
I tried to use a wide range of stamping pates (well, I only have 4 brands, so...:D), thicker and thinner patterns, and I used at least 4 kinds of stampers, which all worked great. You have to work a little bit faster with these, because these dry a bit faster (I usually use Mundo de Unas stamping polishes, and those dry really slow). Like 90% of the manicures were created as decals, because I'm just suck at placing the pattern directly onto my nails.
You will need to topcoat these, to give the full holo and color intensity.
The holographic effect is linear, but it's not too strong (nothing like FNUG), it's slightly scattered, because of the high pigmentation I assume.

All right, I think I told you the basics, from now on let's see them one-by-one, all the specific details will be listed in each stamping polish, and I also listed all the products (base colors and stamping plates) too!

Sadly Golden Rule is one of those colors that doesn't worked the way I wanted. It's because it contains tiny gold microglitters, so it's not an actual pigment. The glitters will have a more scattered effect. I'm not saying that it's not good, because I actually really liked the effect that it gives, but I just wanted to poin out, that this one is a little bit different from the others.
For the normal swatch I used 2 thin coats + topcoat. It has a strong, deep, almost mustard yellow tone.

CbL Regal, Bundle Monster BM-S302

CbL Freeze Frame, Born Pretty Store BP-30

Sparkling Diamonds is a silver holo stamping polish. From now on all the holographic stamping polishes has the same formula, they all worked really well, so I'm not going to mention how well they worked, I don't want to repeat myself.
For the normal swatch I used 2 thin coats + topcoat, bu you can get away with 1 thicker coat too.

Revlon 330 Emerald, Pet'la Plate Wishes 2

Amethyst Glow is a silver-lavender. The lavender tone is really sheer in it, on thinner patterns you can only see it if you're looking for it, it's a lot more silver, but with thicker/bigger patterns or as a normal polish you can see the lavender a lot better.
For the normal swatch I used 2 thin coats + topcoat, bu you can get away with 1 thicker coat too.

Sally Hansen 640 Plum Luck, Born Pretty Store BP-L009

Pink Lady is a slightly pusty light pink. I didn't really liked it on the first manicure (maybe the green wasn't a best choice), but you can see on the yellow base how awesomely it works with the thinnest lines too!
For the normal swatch I used 1 coat + topcoat.

Cirque Colors Tavern on the Teal, Lesly Plate LS-118

Essence the Gel 38 love is in the air, Bundle Monster BM-S304 BM-S308

Hey Romeo is a strong, deep pink, and if you stamp with it, it has red and purple tones in it too (because of the holo) and it's just absolutely gorgeous! I loved it over this medium grey!
For the normal swatch I used 1 coat + topcoat.

Essence the Gel 53 rock my world!, Born Pretty Store BP-L020

The Heart Bleeds is a pink toned red. I will have a comparison below, it looks a bit similar to Hey Romeo, especially on the sun/under lamp (so when they have a strong holo effect). In natural daylight, you can see the difference a lot more.
For the normal swatch I used 1 coat + topcoat.

Cirque Colors Glitterati, Born Pretty Store BP-L013

Lilac Petals is a deep, but saturated neutral toned purple.
For the normal swatch I used 1 coat + topcoat.

El Corazon Kaleidoscope IL-115, Pet'la Plate Wishes 2

Turq'd is a bright blue-turquise color, I really liked this one.
For the normal swatch I used 1 coat + topcoat.

Avon Inky Bue, Born Pretty Store Qgirl-041

Blue Skies is a medium blue, with a tiny bit of periwinkle tones.
For the normal swatch I used 1 coat + topcoat.

piCture pOlish Tiffany, Bundle Monster BM-S303

Royalty is a royal blue (dah :D), and it looked sooo good over that peach base!
For the normal swatch I used 1 coat + topcoat.

Rimmel Rita Ora 408 Peachella, Bundle Monster BM-S304

Enchanted Forest is a beautiful pine green. This was the first one I tried :)
For the normal swatch I used 1 coat + topcoat.

CbL Fairy Dust, Born Pretty Store BP-19

We have a grey too, it' called Chimney Sweep. I always loved greys, and it's soo good to see it in a holographic finish!
For the normal swatch I used 1 coat + topcoat.

China Glaze That's Shore Bright, Bundle Monster BM-XL155

Panther is a black holo stamping polish. As a normal nail polish this one has the least amount of holo, maybe because of the heavy black pigments.
For the normal swatch I used 1 coat + topcoat.

Morgan Taylor I'm Charmed, Born Pretty Store BP-21

And here come the 2 multichrome stamping polish. I never stamped with multichrome polishes, so I don't have experience with those. However, I think these have a little bit less multichrome pigment than they should. Somehow they don't have a really bright, strong color to them (like Dance Legend multichromes have). They stamp really well, but they are not intensive enough for me. This is just a personal preference, maybe you will like them. Btw. these ones require a topcoat too, they have much more intensive colors with a glossy topcoat! I would recommend a dark base color for these, as on lighter colors they don't really have a multichrome shift.

The first one is called Chameleon. It shifts from yellow/gold, through orange, red, pink to purple.
For the normal swatch I used 1 coat over black + topcoat, but you can use it on it's own, that way you will need 2 coats.

Essence the Gel feketéje, Bundle Monster BM-XL155

Shifty has primarily green-purple colors, but in certain agles it shifts to orange/red/pink too. I tried it over a nude base, but the shift is barely there.
For the normal swatch I used 1 coat over black + topcoat, but you can use it on it's own, that way you will need 2 coats.

Golden Rose WOW! #96, Bundle Monster BM-XL152

Essence the Gel fekete, Born Pretty Store BP-L009

I have some other manicures too, where I did some gradient stamping. The colors blend nicely, and with this color selection you can create some awesome color combination!

Enchanted Forest, Lilac Petals, Royalty, Turq'd
Golden Rose WOW! #67, Born Pretty Store BP-30

Lilac Petals, Pink Lady
Rimmel Rita Ora 498 Rain Rain Go Away, Lesly Plate LS-111
