Nail Art with Stones

MAGYAR verzió                                                                                                                                   PR Sample

I think using small stones/crystals are something that you love or hate. In general I don't like to use big studs, 3D decorations (like bows and such), but I follow quite a lot of asian nail artist on Instagram, and they often use stones like this, so one day I realised - after seeing so much manis with stones - that I quite like this form of nail decorations. So I'm going to show you 2 nail art today, including stones that I got from Bundle Monster for review.
This 12 pcs set contains clear, rosy, orange, red, brown, sea foam green, purple, turquoise and cute black&white stones in smaller and bigger sizes. Of course the really big ones can't be used in a nail art, but you can use those for DIY jewel projects.

Of course the first thing that came to my mind was a real stone version of one of my previous manicure (THIS one). This time I had to work with the given stone forms, so I had to change the original patterns, but I like this version a lot too. It's a bit too much maybe, because the stones stick out quite a lot, and that's something I'm not used to, but on my ring finger the stone is a lot flatter, so that one is really wearable. This time I used Cirque Colors Reflektor as a base. The black design is acrylic paint. I applied the stones with nail glue.

I tried to make a "typical" japanese stone nail art. Besides the stones I used gold foil and caviar beads, but sadly the caviar beads started to bleed their color when I applied topcoat over them. I don't know if I like this second nail art or not, I put everything randomly, I didn't thought it through, but it's not terrible I guess :D

I'm going to experiment with these stones further, I guess I just have to get used to them, as they are bigger than I normally would use.

Anyways, if you're interested buying these, you can find them at bundlemonster.com HERE.
