piCture pOlish Nail Art Quarterly

Hello everyone! Today's blogpost is about the very first piCture pOlish Nail Art Quarterly. I think this event is a brilliant idea and I love PP even more because of it. I was lucky enough to be a contestant, so today I can show you what I did for the theme 'Flower Power'. You can find the details about this contest HERE (if you haven't seen it already).
We had to use 3 PP shades (no other brands was allowed), but we could use black and/or white acrylic paint for accenting, and the pattern had to be freehanded. I was a little bit sad that I couldn't use my trusty acrylic paint set in various colors. I only have 6 PP shades so it was a little bit hard to find 3 colors that I like enough together to be a part of this huge event. I quickly ordered Mad Magenta too, because I suspected that the glitters in Unicorn are kind of the same colour as Mad Magenta (and I was right thank God :D). My third color was Watermelon. I think the color combination turned out to be pretty awesome, such a pop of color! I choosed a random flower pattern that I've found at Google but I made some changes on it. I don't know...I'm not entirely satisfied with the pattern, but at least the colors are pretty good together. I used black acrylic paint for outlining.

What do you think?
