Dark Butterfly

I always wanted to paint butterflies on my nails, but I never knew what kind (I don't even know this species really well), and I couldn't find a picture that I liked. A couple of days ago I went ahead, and tried another search, and finally a pretty picture (THIS) came by. I wanted to keep this nail art wintery, dark and mysterious, and honestly, I couldn't imagine a butterfly nail cute/bright/pink, to me that would be too childish (yeah, I wore my rainbow-unicorn nails with proud, but I could never paint a cute butterfly :D).

NAIL ART | Dinosaurs from the 90's

I have a fun 90's inspired freehanded nail art to show you today. I love 90's patterns, so I started to search on Google for inspiration. I came across (a several times - it's so popular) with this cute dinosaur pattern, and I instantly fell in love (I don't know who the original creator, but you can find it on Google, if you type "dino 90's pattern" in the search bar). I've planned to do more dinos on 1 nail, but clearly I'm not there yet :DD So I painted only 1 dino on each nail.

WNAC2015 July | Gradient Animal Print

This month's WNAC is all about gradients, and this week's theme was animal print. When it comes to animal print, the first thing comes in my mind is snake/croc skin. So I did a pastel green to teal gradient, and on top of that I handpainted the reptile skin with black acrylic paint, using THIS picture as a guideline.

NAIL ART | Octopus

I wanted to do an octopus nail art, and Dance Legend - Holy Diver was the perfect, oceanic base for that. I thought I will do the octopus with a multichrome nail polish, but I ended up using 2 (Dance Legend Celia and Boo) mixed together. I'm not that happy with this color though, I wish it would've contained more purple (but Celia alone would've been too dark).

NAIL ART | Too early? - Nautical mani

Well yeah, it's a bit early to post a nautical nail art, but who cares? :D And I didn't even planned to paint seahorses. Here's the strory: I wanted mint on my nails (like, badly), so I grabbed Models Own 'Jade Stone'. After that I really wanted some coral pattern over it, because I'm just crazy about this color combo. And the coral (color) reminded me the actual corals and seahorses. And after that I just couldn't think anything else but nautical :D

FASHION on my NAILS | Dolce & Gabbana

Today is another fashion inspired day. I choosed Dolce & Gabbana Winter 2016 Men's Fashion Show as an inspiration, I think the clothes are amazing and I really liked this crowned bee pattern, so I painted it onto a black base. I added some gold studs and caviar pearls too. I think it turned out really awesome and I felt totally fancy during the time I was wearing it on my nails :D

Hello everyone! This is the birds challenge's last theme. I didn't wanted to do a cute owl, because I think they are not cute at all (especially when they spit their lunch's left-over fur and bones to our backyard...:S :D ). So I painted an angry looking owl in my middle finger and some feather in the ringfinger. I painted the rest of my nails with China Glaze Midtown Magic.

Today in the "Birds challenge" we had to make something inspired by a falmingo. In real life I hate this creature, they are so ugly, look at those eyes :D aww..creepy.
