Delush Polish is here with another Game of Thrones inspired collection, this time we got 7 new shades, and one of them is a thermal.
DRAGON DUST (inspired by Daenerys' dragons)
It's an emerald green jelly base with gold to red shifting glitters and green-gold irredescent flakes.
3 thin coats + 2 coats of topcoat
HAND OF THE KING (inspired by Davos)
It's a dusty blue jelly base with multicolored multichrome flakes and green-blue irredescent flakes.
3 thin coats + 1 coat of topcoat
ICE DWELLERS (inspired by the White Walkers) - thermal
Cold: blackened dusty blue jelly base
Warm: dusty, light, grey-blue jelly base
It has purple-blue shimmer flakes and blue-green glass fleck flakes.
3 coats + 2 coats of topcoat
MASTER OF WHISPERS (inspired by Varys)
It's a purple jelly base with blue shimmer, holo flakes and pink holo glitter shards.
2-3 coats + 1-2 coats of topcoat
RUTHLESS WARRIOR (inspired by Khal Drogo)
It's a greige base with gold-pink shimmer.
2-3 coats + 1 coat of topcoat
STONE MAN (inspired by Jorah Mormont)
It's a dark, blackened brown jelly base with gold-red irredescent glitters, orange metallic glitters, pink holo and metallic gold glitter shards, and big holographic circles.
2 coats, but you will have to fish for those circle glitters, and they will require a lot of topcoat to even out the surface.
THE VIPER (inspired by Oberyn Martell)
It's a berry pink jelly base with gold-red irredescent microglitters, pink-gold shimmer flakes, holo glitters with blue flash and pink holo glitter shards.
2-3 coats + 2 coats of topcoat
My favorites are Dragon Dust and Ice Dwellers.
This collection is already available at delushpolish.com, the polishes can be purchased individually and as a set (with discount).
Wow, I don't even watch Game of Thrones but this is such a pretty collection!
ReplyDeleteI have a question for you: what lighting setup and/or settings on your camera do you use for your swatches? Glitter and holographic polishes always seem to come out looking dull in my photographs, but yours always look so gorgeous! I'm curious if I'm just not setting my camera up properly or if there's a certain technique for photographing those types of polishes that I don't know about.
Hi Becca,
DeleteI'm sloop sorry for the late answer!
I have a Canon EOS 600D with 18-55mm lens and I have LED lamps for lighting. Looking at your pictures I would say you use a lightbox maybe? That should be a problem, because the only way to photograph holos is to use direct light. I never use a lightbox, or I don't block the light with a white sheet/paper, I only use that when I want to photograph flakies or multichromes. I would recommend to use a warmer LED light, with the highest lumen possible, the goal is to imitate natural sunlight, which is the best light for holographics.
I hope I could help a little bit and sorry again for the late answer.
Sloop = sooooo 😂 #autocorrect
DeleteAhh, sorry for my late answer as well!
DeleteI have been using a lightbox, so thank you for the tip! I'll definitely try to photograph them without it from now on!
