Illyrian Polish | Winter 2016

Olvasd MAGYARUL                                                                                                                                 PR sample

I'm always so happy to show you Illyrian Polish swatches, because the majority of the shades are truly my all time favorites, swatching IP polishes are always so easy and exciting because I just love these interesting color combinations and finishes that Vanessa creates so beautifully.
So here I am showing you all 5 shades from the Winter 2016 collection :)

DARKNESS
This one is my favorite from the collection. It's a rich purple with red shimmer that shift to orange in some lights, OMG it's so stunning!
It has an amazing formula, nicely pigmented and streak-free, you see 2 coats and topcoat here.

THE STARS
I don't know how well my swatches show, but this polish has a blue leaning teal base, it's almost like a petrol blue but a little bit more teal. It's really dark, but you can definitely see it in person. It has tiny silver holo microglitters and holo flakes.
It's a jelly-ish formula, but depending on the application and nail lenght, you can get away with 2-3 coats. I used 2 thicker coats here. It doesn't dries too textured, a generous coat of topcoat is enough to smooth out the surface.

SHADOW OF YOUR HEART
It has a medium/deep pink base, but because of those gold microglitters it has a rich, golden red vibe, and OMG those purple flakies are totally unexpected, but totally awesome!
It covers in 2-3 coats depending on your application, it doesn't dries too textured.

IN THIS TWILIGHT
This is a sheer, layering kind of polish, it probably never will be opaque on it's own, because it has irredescent glitters, but it looks really cool and ethereal even when you can see the nail lines. I used it on it's own in 3 coats, and also used as a topper (1 coat over Darkness - mattified and glossy).
It's a really sheer purple base with lots of golden-green to red irrdescent glitters in different sizes and gold to pink-red shimmer flakes.

THE MOON
It's a medium grey with warm-neutral undertone, it has a medium holo effect.
It's a really nice formula, easy and pigmented, I used 2 coats and topcoat.

Illyrian Polish will have a restock of the full collection plus some other shades on their site on January 13th 6PM central, so definitely set your alarm! I'm not sure when these will be available internationally through stockists, but here are the distributors that I know of, you can check these out for availability:
