I'm a little late with this post, but the Holidays caught me :D We have 6 shades, one of them is a returning shade (dark purple Evening Gown) from a previous collection. The colors and finishes have a wide variety, but to be totally honest, I don't really feel the "New Year's vibe" behind it. These shades are just too casual and light/colorful for me, but I'm sure I'm going to love them in the Spring/Summer.
HAPPY PLACE
It's a medium teal jelly with square silver holo microglitters and goldengreen to red irredescent square microglitters (like the ones in Jingle Bells from last collection). Sadly, on my long nails it needed 3 normal-thicker coats to build up the base color. This one is my favorit btw.
TIARA
You all know it by now, I don't like pinks, especially pinks with warm undertones, and this is exactly like that :D It has a soft linear holo effect.
I used 2 coats, but be careful, it can be streaky, so use a thicker second coat and less brushstrokes to prevent that.
EVENING GOWN
It's a really dark purple linear holo.
It has an amazing pigmented formula, I used 2 coats here.
MAGIC STONE
It's a slightly dusty (a little bit dustier in real life as my pictures show) turquoise base with holo flakies and holo dust.
Nice formula, I used 2 coats here and 1 thick coat of topcoat.
JUST DANCE
It's a dark pink jelly base with holo flakies, holo dust and irredescent square microglitters.
Nice formula, I used 2 coats.
UNICORN ISLAND
It's a sheer purple jelly base with square silver holo microglitters and goldengreen to red irredescent square microglitter. This one is even more jelly than Happy Place. I used 3 thick coats here, but you can see my nail line showing through. I guess it should be better on short nails.
I tried it over Evening Gown (1 coat) too.
So sadly I haven't befriended with this collection yet, I'm just so not over my dark and earthy colors.
I hope a lot of you will find something to like though, because there's a lot of color/finish options here!
This collection will launch tomorrow (December 31) on 11PM Singapore time on funlacquer.com and their stockist.
I WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY NEW YEAR :)
