TUTORIAL | Opal nails

This is my 3rd attempt for opal nails and I kind of like it, but I still feel that I can do it better. Anyways, I made a tutorial too, so if you like it, you can recreate it. I only made two of my nails opal, for the rest, I used one of my franken nail polishes. This blue franken np goes with the theme I think, because it's filled with flakies. I also put metal triangle charms to them too just to make them bling :D

This is how it looks with good lighting, you can definitely see the tipical opal effect!

How to do it:

1: Start off with a white base

2, 3: sponge on 3 colors (blue, yellow, coral), but leave some places white!

4: Use a sheer (french) nude to make the colors less vibrant and it will also help to blend the colors together.

5: Glue on a couple of cracked ice foil.

6: Use 1 coat of a regular flakie topcoat (I used a Born Pretty Store flakie)

7: Add a little bit of the Essence Galaxy Flakes 23 Rock My World here and there. Or you can use any flakie topcoat with a slightly grey base.

Topcoat it!
