SOFT FOCUS BASECOAT
The brand released a basecoat that can help reduce the number of coats required for full coverage, or if you have a very white nail line, it can help tone it down. I build my own gel/poligel nails, they have a clear/milky white overall color, so I can't really test the second option, but I can test the first.
On the pictures you can see 1 coat of basecoat applied on my pointer and middle finger, then 2 coats of Petrichor and Aisling on top of them. I painted 3 normal coats of polish on the other nails, without basecoat. These two polishes for me are almost 4 coaters, I can see my nail lines through just enough to consider a 4th coat. With the Soft Focus basecoat there are no nail lines left. But, I also have to mention that the basecoat has quite strong yellowish-nude color, and it could clearly alter the general tone of the polish, as you can see with Petrichor (it didn't alter the color on Aisling though...).
The formula is really nice, I was able to paint on 1 easy coat of basecoat without any streaks. If this tone suits your skintone, you can easily wear it as a sheer nude as well.
