Delush Polish | The Mermaid Diaries + Anniversary polish

The new Spring collection from Delush Polish comes with a Summer vibe, well at least the inspiration behind it is really summery. However, the colors are perfect for Spring, they are fresh and lively, and they come in a variety of finishes.

Oh, and those names are hilarious :)

ANY FIN IS POSSIBLE

I was so excited about this polish, it looked so interesting in the bottle! It has a sheer blue jelly base with a pink/purple shimmer sheen, holo flakes, lightblue tiny holo glitters and blue/green glass fleck flakies. Which is unfortunate, because these tipes of flakes are a lot stiffer than regular color shifting flakes, and some of them won't lay flat on the nails :(

I used 3 thick coats here, but the base is so sheer that I still had some vnl, which I would  forgive, but those flakes just didn't lay down flat, not even with topcoat :(

I WASHED UP LIKE THIS
It's a turquise base with green shimmer, holo flakes and tiny lightblue holo glitters. A true mermaid polish :)
I used 2 coats + topcoat.

 CALL ME ON MY SHELL PHONE

It's a cold toned, slightly dusty light pink base with holo flakes and gold shimmer. It has a perfect formula, I used 2 coats and topcoat here.

RESTING BEACH FACE

It's a really unique red, I can't even describe the tone of it :D When I look at it, the word "vintage" comes in my mind. I don't know how helpful is that :D

It has an orange shimmer, and the formula is perfection, I used 2 coats plus topcoat. 

SIREN OF THE SEAS

 It's a light purple base with gold shimmer, holo flakes and tiny lightblue holo glitters. In person, my nail lines weren't visible, it's just because of my bright artificial lights. I recommend 3 thin or 2 thicker coats and topcoat.

DON'T PLAY KOI

It's that tricky orchid pink/purple that my camera always shows a lot colder than it actually is. It has gold-pink shimmer flakes, and it dries semi-matte.

I used 2 coats and topcoat.

I think it's a really good collection, with a lot of finish options and generally good formulas. All of these shades are available now at delushpolish.com

FOUR YEARS OF GRAPENESS

It's a purple jelly base with multicolor holo or matte circle glitters in various sizes, plus multicolored microglitters. Those huge glitters will sink down in the bottom of the bottle because, well...gravity, so you will have to shake it up, but then you won't have to fish too much to get them onto your nails. I used 2 normal/thick coats here, but depending on your application you might prefer 3 thin coats. It requires a lot of topcoat, or you can use a gel topcoat like I did here.
